At Ball Hockey Ontario we believe that all children should have an equal opportunity to experience Growing Up Through Sports (G.U.T.S.) while playing the great game of outdoor ball hockey. Individuals can register at any of our facilities to play in leagues for children ages six to seventeen (6-17). We will place each individual on a team.
We also offer a 9 session instructional experience for 4 & 5 year olds. Tiny Tots is a program designed to introduce young children to the sport in a fun one hour session focused on skill development. This program is run three times a year starting in March, June and September.
Playing outdoor sports is a great way for our children to keep fit and healthy. Players sign up individually, but can also identify one friend they wish to play with. No skating skills or previous ice hockey experience is required as all games are played in running shoes. Each player will play a minimum of 14 games over the three month season.
All games are played at our local facilities and you can choose from seasons that start in March, June, September, or a Winter season that begins in December for the diehard outdoor player.
Our facilities offer a very affordable opportunity for off-ice training and skill development for ice hockey teams. Have your team focus on face-off drills, positioning on the rink and breakout plays while having fun off the ice. The rinks are also available for birthday party rentals.
