For years, the World Outdoor Ball Hockey Championships (WOBHC) has stood as one of the top showcases for outdoor ball hockey, drawing elite competition from across the sport to ballhockey.com. Now, we are proud to re-introduce the youth edition of that legacy event: the World Outdoor Youth Ball Hockey Championships!
Built on the same foundation of competitive excellence and the spirit that defines the WOBHC, this tournament gives the next generation of athletes their own world stage. From August 14–16, 2026, young players will compete for the right to call themselves Worlds Champions… carrying forward a tradition that has made the Niagara Region synonymous with the top outdoor ball hockey competition!
Whether you’re a returning WOBHC family or stepping into this community for the first time, the World Outdoor Youth Ball Hockey Championships is where the future of the game meets its greatest stage.
2026 Tournament Info
Dates: August 14-16, 2026
Entry Fee: $700 + HST per team
Location: ballhockey.com Canal Rinks (1944 Welland Canals Parkway, St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada)
Registration: Registration is available through the Ballhockey.com Shark online portal, here. A $50 deposit is required at registration to secure your team’s spot in the tournament.
Roster Information: Maximum roster size: 18 players per team, including goalie(s).
Tournament Format: Three 10-minute stop-time periods. Round-robin play in all divisions, followed by single-elimination playoffs.
Championship Awards: Team set of personalized lightweight jackets (team logo, name, number)

Registration for the 2026 World Outdoor Youth Ball Hockey Championships opens June 1, 2026. All team registrations are completed through the Ballhockey.com Shark online portal, available here.
A $50 deposit is required at the time of registration to secure your team’s spot in the tournament. Remaining balances must be paid in full prior to the event.
