The World Outdoor Ball Hockey Championships (WOBHC) is one of Canada’s longest-running ball hockey tournaments — and in 2026, it returns across two championship weekends!
For over 20 years, the WOBHC has carried decades of tradition, rivalries, and championship moments. The event traces its origins to the Ballhockey.com Provincial Championships, and that legacy lives on in the champions engraved on our WOBHC trophies dating all the way back to 1999. Generations of teams have battled on the outdoor stage, making the WOBHC more than a tournament — it’s a rite of passage in the sport.
As we enter the 2026 edition, we’re set for two very big weekends of high-level, outdoor ball hockey. Whether you’re chasing your first title or returning to defend your name, this is your chance to etch your team into one of the sport’s most storied championships in the area.
Two Weekends. Seven Divisions.
The 2026 WOBHC is split across two competitive weekends, each with its own slate of divisions and registration deadlines.

Entry Fee: $850 + HST per team

- Spots are filled on a first-come basis and divisions may fill before the deadline.

- Personalized BAUER lightweight jackets! (player name, number, team name)

Ratings Implications: This event DOES contribute to the Ratings Database, in addition teams/players must adhere to the Ratings Database to compete in this event.
*Any roster submitted after the posted online submission roster deadline dates will not be checked/”approved” by club management, instead teams run the risk of forfeited games if fielding an illegal roster.
Rating Appeal: If you believe a player’s rating is inaccurate due to non-participation in a listed event (e.g., being rostered but not playing), you may submit a rating appeal — appeals require official confirmation from the issuing event organizer and must be received no later than seven days prior to the tournament start date.
