Women’s Programs at Ballhockey.com

Welcome to the Home of Women’s Ball Hockey at Ballhockey.com!

Whether you’re tying up the running shoes for the first time or you’re a seasoned competitor, our women’s programs are built to grow the game, foster community, and elevate every player who steps on the floor. From our fun Saturday Night Pick-Up at Haig Bowl Arena, to our recreational and competitive Women’s Leagues, there’s a place for everyone to play, connect, and compete.

We’re also proud to introduce the Niagara Phoenix, our all-new, all-girls youth and adult program designed to develop female athletes and represent Ballhockey.com at events across Canada and the United States. With divisions ranging from U12 to adult, the Phoenix is more than just a team — it’s a movement.

Explore each section below to learn more about our offerings, upcoming events, registration info, and how to get involved. Let’s grow the game, together.

SATURDAY PICK-UP

Looking to try something new or just have some fun on a Saturday night? Our women’s pick-up nights are perfect for beginners, first-timers, or even a mother-daughter duo trying the sport for the first time. The atmosphere is low-pressure, friendly, and fun — the perfect way to get a feel for the game, meet new people, and enjoy the action at your own pace. Our Women’s pick-up runs from 6pm-7pm at Haig Bowl Arena, starting June 7th (at a cost of $62.00 Tx Included for the entire 12 game offering)

WOMEN’S LEAGUES

Starting Summer 2025, our women’s leagues will feature two divisions — one for competitive players looking to challenge themselves, and another for those seeking a more recreational experience. Team fees will be $1150 + tax, offering great value for a full season of organized, well-run play.

In addition, any women who is registered and playing in both our women’s and co-ed divisions for Summer 2025 will receive a special gift on behalf of Ballhockey.com and Knapper!

We’re also committed to building a stronger voice for women in our leagues. We’re working to improve communication and transparency, with plans for regular check-ins and meetings throughout the season and more. Your input matters — and we’re listening.

We will also be opening up individual registration for those looking to play, but don’t yet have a team (more on this coming soon!)

NIAGARA PHOENIX – Youth & Adult Travel Program

Introducing the Niagara Phoenix — our all-girls travel program proudly representing Ballhockey.com across Canada and the U.S.

The Phoenix features youth teams in U13, U15, and U18, as well as an adult women’s team that not only competes but also serves as mentors and coaches for our younger athletes. The Phoenix is more than a team — it’s a pathway for development, leadership, and lifelong friendships. With dedicated personnel and a focus on growth, this is the next step in building something truly special for female ball hockey players.

CLINICS & TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

Skill development is at the heart of growing the game. We are aiming to offer clinics and training sessions led by experienced female players from our leagues and community. These sessions are tailored to help young girls and/or adults improve their skills, build confidence, and fall in love with the sport. Whether you’re preparing for our youth house leagues or just getting started in our adult league offerings, these clinics are a fantastic way to learn from role models and feel supported every step of the way.

At Ballhockey.com, we believe that women deserve a powerful and prominent place in our sport — and we’re committed to building that future. The re-vamp of our women’s leagues, pickup nights, clinics, and the Niagara Phoenix program isn’t just about creating opportunities to play — it’s about cultivating a culture of inclusion, empowerment, and ambition. We’re driven by the belief that with the right environment, resources, and community support, female athletes can elevate the game to new heights. Whether it’s a young girl picking up a stick for the first time, or a seasoned player chasing new goals, our mission is to support and celebrate every step of the journey. With ambitious goals and a strong foundation, we’re not just participating in the women’s game — we’re helping lead its rise.
