The Niagara Phoenix Program Brings You the Spring Spark Showdown!
Get ready to ignite the spring season with Ballhockey.com’s newest tournament – the Spring Spark Showdown!
Presented by our Niagara Phoenix program, this exciting one-day event is set to take place Saturday, May 24, 2025!
As part of our growing commitment to offering more competition opportunities — especially for our community’s rising players — the Spring Spark Showdown will feature both Co-Ed and Men’s Rec Divisions, played in an energetic 4-on-4 format. Each team will have a maximum roster size of 13 players (including goalie), making for fast, high-paced games where every shift matters.
Event Highlights:
- Date: Saturday, May 24, 2025
- Location: Ballhockey.com Canal Rinks
- Format: 4-on-4 Ball Hockey
- Guaranteed Games: Each team will play a minimum of three round-robin games + one playoff game
- Divisions: Co-Ed and Men’s Rec
- Game Format: Three 10-minute running-time periods (45-minute game slots)
Beyond just a day of great competition, the Spring Spark Showdown represents the Niagara Phoenix’s dedication to building momentum for both youth and adult ball hockey in our region. As our all-girls program continues to grow, we are proud to help lead the charge in creating more events that bring the entire community together through sport.
