Season at a Glance

Night: Wednesday / Sunday’s
Season: November 2026 to February 2027
Format: 12-game regular season plus single-elimination playoffs
Cost: $160 + tax per player (includes draft team t-shirt)
Location: Ballhockey.com Canal Rinks and/or Haig Bowl Arena
Interest deadline: Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM

How It Works

1. Register your interest. Fill out the player interest form by October 31 at 11:59 PM. It asks for your contact details, jersey size, and your top three jersey number choices.

2. Captains are selected. Interested in leading a team? You can say so on the form. League management will contact the players selected as captains directly.

3. Draft day. Captains draft their rosters with the goal of creating balanced, competitive teams. Full draft details will be shared in the weeks ahead, closer to the interest deadline.

4. Game time! The season starts in November with 12 regular-season games, then single-elimination playoffs to crown a champion.

Playing With a Friend?

You can request a partner on the form, whether that’s a friend, a significant other, or your carpool buddy. Partner requests are only honoured when both players request each other, so make sure your partner registers too and lists you on their form.

Captains draft their team, serve as the main contact with league management, and help keep things running smoothly through the season. If that sounds like you, select “Yes” on the captain question when you register.

Please Note

Registering your interest does not guarantee a spot on a team. Players are selected through the draft, and depending on registration numbers and team needs, some players may go undrafted.
