Last year, you shared your feedback. Together, we built this year. Now, let’s build the next one together.
In our 2025 Community Survey, players, parents and fans told us what was working, what wasn’t, and what they wanted next. We read every response, and much of what you told us is now part of how Ballhockey.com runs.
Today, we’re opening the 2026/27 Community Survey.

What we built together
Fairer competition. Nine in ten of you ranked fair competition as a top priority. After months of work, our League Ratings and team cap system went live this Fall/Winter season. Every adult league player has a rating from 1 to 7, and every division has a published cap. Look up any player at ballhockeyleagueratings.com.
Longer seasons. Seven in ten adult league players asked for more hockey, so our men’s divisions now play an 18-game regular season.
More ways to compete. We added a Men’s Rec division at the 2026 Garden City Classic, and launched the Royal George Invitational, a progressive cash-prize tournament for Men’s B and C teams.
Stronger tournament parity. After nearly a full year with our tournament ratings, we’re encouraged by the parity we’re seeing, especially in Men’s B and Men’s C. Since October 9, teams can carry a maximum of two rated players from the division above. It’s all part of Game Plan 2027.
Your rule ideas. Every rule suggestion was reviewed, and we review the rulebook before every season.
Let’s build the next year together
This year’s survey is open to Adult League players and, for the first time, youth families, with a short youth section that takes about 2–3 minutes.
Who: Adult League players, and parents or guardians of youth players
How long: 3–7 minutes
Anonymous: yes, unless you choose to leave your email
Closes: Sunday, December 6, 2026
When the survey closes, we’ll share what we heard, and what we’re doing about it, on our community page.
